The Sigur Ghats overlooking Moyyar river: a photo tour

Some photos from a recent trip to the Sigur ghats overlooking the Moyyar river.  The journey started in Coonoor and we had to abandon our 4×4 jeep somewhere in the Ebbannad forest when the terrain became very steep and rocky.  A 2 hours trek and we were at one of the steepest sections of the ghats  that overlooks Mudumalai Tiger Reserve through which the Moyyar meanders lazily.  There is nearly a 1000 Mtr fall from the cliffs in this region and the views are spectacular.  One Earth Foundation is working on some ecological projects in the region.
